Applying for a property.

If you’ve found your next home through The Rental Experts and you're ready to apply, we're here to help you through the process. You can either download and complete an application form or follow the instructions on the realestate.com.au listing through 2Apply.

Please have all necessary documentation ready for your application to ensure we can quickly process this, giving you the best chance at successfully securing the home you want.

Once we receive your application we will get back to you within 48 hours to complete all necessary checks including affordability, references and national tenancy database checks.

Maintenance requests.

All you need to do is submit your maintenance and/or repair requests to us directly in writing. We ask that you be as detailed as possible so that we can process the request as quickly as possible. Attaching photos of the area(s) that need addressing is also strongly recommended.

In most cases, your maintenance/repair request must be approved by the landlord before any work can take place. We will liaise directly and diligently with the landlord so that we can address the specified issue as quickly as possible. Our friendly team of professionals are committed to giving you peace of mind.

As stipulated in the Fire and Rescue Service Act 1990, both tenants and landlords have responsibilities for smoke alarms. When your tenancy begins, we will ensure the property is compliant with legislation. Landlords must install, clean and test smoke alarms, as well as replace batteries before the start or renewal of a tenancy. However, tenants must clean, test and replace batteries over the course of the tenancy.
